Meet our speech therapy team
-
My name is Faith and I attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe for both undergrad and grad school and graduated with an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology in May of 2023. I am now serving out my Clinical Fellowship and working towards full certification in the field. I have worked with adult populations in areas of literacy and those who have experienced brain injuries or strokes. With children I have been privileged to work with kids anywhere from 18 months old all the way to 16 years old in areas of early language development, articulation, and language and literacy disorders. I regularly attend workshops and pursue education in manual signs and ASL to better serve young non-verbal children and provide a stepping stone toward speech with an alternate form of communication. Language has always fascinated me and our ability to communicate in the form of language is distinctly unique to humans and I desired to learn more about how we develop language and the ways language serves us in a society, so I became a speech-language pathologist. Being able to assist young children with finding their voices and helping provide the means for them to communicate with the world around them is my favorite part of the job! When I’m not working, I enjoy reading books and buying books, going to the movies, hanging out with my soon-to-be husband, or serving at my church!

Hi! My name is Loren Gray and I am a pediatric speech-language pathologist assistant. I was born and raised in Texas and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2021. In my spare time I am often back home visiting my parents, riding horses, and helping out on the farm. I also love to spend time with family and friends, walk my dog, and go two-stepping.
I was unsure what path I wanted to pursue when I started college, I just knew I wanted to be in a field that helped and served others. The first time I heard about speech-language pathology was from my high school resource officer. He told me his daughter was in school to be a speech-language pathologist and gave me information that prompted me to do some exploring of my own. The very next week I changed my major during orientation from nursing to communication sciences and disorders and I fell in love with the field during clinicals.
What I love most about being a pediatric speech-language pathologist assistant are the connections I am able to make with both the patients and their families. I enjoy working with early childhood language and I am passionate about helping my clients progress. I have experience with language disorders, articulation disorders, fluency, and early language intervention. I am so excited to be a part of the FUNdamental Pediatric Therapy team!

Hi! My name is Alexis Little and I am a pediatric speech-language pathologist. I was born and raised in Shreveport, LA, where I love spending time with my family, getting crafty doing DIY projects, and going on road trips with friends! I attended Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA, where I earned my undergraduate degree and graduated with my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology in 2020. As much as I wish I could say I knew I wanted to be a speech therapist since I was a little girl… that’s not quite the case as it was actually my mom who introduced me to the profession. I can honestly say that I had no idea what a speech-language pathologist even was until my freshman year of college, BUT what I quickly came to realize is that I was meant for this profession and that my mom (as always) was right. I don’t think I’ll ever quite be able to put into words how thankful I am for her introducing me to something that has become one of my greatest passions in life.
My absolute favorite thing about being a pediatric speech-language pathologist is getting to be a small part of helping little ones who were once shy, frustrated, and often struggled to communicate grow into confident and independent communicators. I love working closely with families to nurture a child’s speech and language development to help each child find their voice so that they can express themselves with confidence and gain the skills needed to build meaningful relationships with those around them. Since graduating in 2020, I have had the opportunity to work with children ages 15 months to 17 years old both in the private practice setting as well as in a pediatric home health setting. I have experience with language disorders, articulation disorders, fluency, early language intervention, and early literacy. I have also recently completed a training program for a wonderful research-based, multi-sensory reading program called Lively Letters and have enjoyed incorporating the program during therapy sessions!
I am a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Louisiana and am certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. I am beyond excited for the opportunity to serve families in this community and to be a part of the FUNdamental Pediatric Therapy team!

My name is Kate and I am originally from Indiana! My husband and I are here for the next few years for his job in the military. So far, we love it here! I went to Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana for my Bachelor’s in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences in 2019. Right after that, I completed my Speech Language Pathology Master of Science at Saint Mary’s in South Bend, Indiana and graduated in 2021. I am licensed by the state of Louisiana and have my certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. I am also a member of the MedSLP Collective.
I have worked with a variety of patient populations from the school setting, to the acute hospital setting, to skilled nursing facilities, and now outpatient clinic! What I love most about this career field is being able to work with such diverse populations.
My mother is the reason I began my career in speech pathology. She has always been my biggest cheerleader. She encouraged me to shadow different jobs while still in high school to help me narrow down what I wanted to study in college and pursue as a career. During that time, I shadowed in an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic and LOVED it. I was sold! The rest is history.
When not at work, you might find me at Church at Red River where I am involved within the CARR Kids ministry, or just even in my own backyard! I love being outdoors and gardening. I also love health and wellness, and cooking. I’m starting to get the hang of baking finally too. (Sourdough, here I come!)
I am so excited to be able to work and serve with you and your family!
Meet our occupational therapy team
-
Hi! I’m Megan. I live in Stonewall with my husband Logan and our three kids. In my free time, I love serving at my church, Fellowship Community, spending time with my friends and family, and exercising. I earned my master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in 2015. I initially became an occupational therapist because I wanted a career in which I could serve others and assist them in living their life to the fullest. My favorite thing about occupational therapy is our broad scope of practice and our ability to help others participate in almost anything. My favorite skills to address in therapy are activities of daily living and sensory processing. I have clinical experience working with children with diagnoses that include intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, and sensory processing disorder. I am a licensed occupational therapist in the state of Arkansas and Louisiana and am certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. I am so excited to be a part of FUNdamental Pediatric Therapy and serve the children and families in our sweet little town! I truly enjoy spending time helping kids grow and can't wait to help more kids live a functional life within their everyday environment.

Hi! I’m Lindsay. I live with my husband Clay, our two kids Elias and Evie, and our yorkie Rutledge . In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family outside and working in my garden. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northwestern State University in 2014 and my Master of Occupational Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport in 2017. I initially became an occupational therapist because I felt every child deserves to be able to play, enjoy life, and achieve their goals—whatever they may be! My favorite thing about occupational therapy is working closely with children and their families to develop practical solutions to challenges they are facing. I enjoy working on handwriting, fine motor and visual motor skills, and sensory processing. I also enjoy helping children develop skills to regulate themselves and express their emotions in a safe and appropriate way. I have worked with children, typically ages 3 and up, with diagnoses that range from autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, developmental delay, as well as children with sensory processing challenges that have presented as difficulties with feeding, toileting, and other self care tasks. I am a licensed occupational therapist in the state of Louisiana and am certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. I am so excited to be a part of FUNdamental Pediatric Therapy and serving the families in my home parish of DeSoto!

Brittainy is also originally from DeSoto Parish and currently lives in Stonewall, LA. In her free time, you can find her at Jill’s gymnastics, serving at our church, or spending time with her son. Brittainy graduated from Northwestern State University in 2016 with her bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science and completed the occupational therapy assistant program in 2019. Brittainy has worked with children and adults of all ages and says her favorite thing about occupational therapy is being a voice to people who need it the most. We are so excited to have her on our team!

Madison is originally from Carmel and graduated from North DeSoto High School. In her free time, you can find her outdoors, taking road trips, or making treats in the kitchen. Madison graduated from Bossier Parish Community College in 2022 with an associate degree in Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant and is certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Madison has clinical experience in private practice and has worked with many diagnoses, such as ADHD, autism, developmental delay, and sensory processing disorders.
Madison was inspired to pursue a career in occupational therapy because of the excitement of witnessing patients achieve a goal that may seem so small to others but is actually a huge deal!
She says her favorite thing about occupational therapy is that treatment is not one size fits all. There are numerous ways to be creative and make activities FUN all while working on the skills that are needed.
Meet our physical therapy team
-
Hi! My name is Emily Fontaine and I am a pediatric physical therapist. I graduated from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA with my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and graduated with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport in 2023. I have experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, torticollis, developmental delays, Down syndrome, overgrowth syndrome, Kabuki syndrome, and various other genetic disorders.
I have two older cousins who paved the road for me to become a physical therapist. They both went through & graduated PT school at LSU Health Shreveport and now work in the neuro population. Hearing them talk about PT and how passionate they were inspired me to pursue PT ever since graduating from high school. I thought I would follow in their footsteps into neuro, but went through rotations during school and fell in love working with my babies. Aside from seeing these kiddos thrive & reach their full potential, my favorite thing about being a pediatric physical therapist is the bond I build with my patients and their families. Pediatrics is more than just therapeutic interventions, it’s building rapport with the babies & families. It’s crucial to me that the family’s are involved in my babies’ plan of care from start to finish.
When I am not working you can find me hanging out with friends and family, snuggled up on the couch with my mini schnauzer, Remi, reading thrillers or watching a show, and spending time outdoors fishing, sitting by a fire, at the lake, or hanging out by the pool.
